congenital jaw disorders, deformations caused by aging or structural problems caused by accidents.  <\/p>\n<h3><strong>Causes of Chin Aesthetics<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Chin aesthetics can be preferred for both aesthetic and functional purposes.<br \/>\nAmong the most common reasons for this procedure are the following: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Small or Receding Chin:<\/strong> When the chin is out of proportion with the other parts of the face, it creates an unbalanced appearance in the facial features of the person.<br \/>\nA small or receding chin can make a person&#8217;s profile look aesthetically unpleasant. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Large or protruding chin:<\/strong> An overly large or protruding chin also negatively affects facial aesthetics.<br \/>\nThis becomes especially evident in the profile image. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Deformity of the Chin Tip:<\/strong> Problems such as irregularities, sharpness or excessive width at the tip of the chin can be disturbing in the appearance <\/li>\n<li><strong>Orthognathic Surgery:<\/strong> It is a surgical procedure to change the position of the upper and lower jaw.<br \/>\nIt is used to correct major deformities in the jaw structure and is usually planned together with orthodontic treatment. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Chin Implants:<\/strong> Implants made of silicone or other biocompatible materials are placed to define the jawline or enlarge the chin tip.<br \/>\nThis procedure makes the jawline sharper and more defined. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>2. <strong>Non-Surgical Chin Aesthetics<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Filler Applications:<\/strong> Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are used to define the jaw line, shape the chin tip or correct asymmetries.<br \/>\nThis method is very popular because it does not require surgical intervention and gives results in a short time. <\/li>\n<li><strong>Botulinum Toxin (Botox):<\/strong> If the chewing muscles (masseter muscles) on the side of the chin are overdeveloped, botox injections are used to shrink these muscles and make the facial features appear thinner.<br \/>\nIt is especially preferred to ovalize square facial features. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Preparation Before Chin Aesthetics<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Before having chin aesthetics, a detailed evaluation should be made with the doctor.<br \/>\nDuring this evaluation process, the most appropriate treatment method is determined by taking into account the patient&#8217;s jaw structure, facial features, skin thickness and aesthetic expectations.<br \/>\nThings to be
